Virginia Tech Veterinary Medical Clinic Remodel
As one of Virginia Tech's select list of on-demand Contractors, we were hired for a medical clinic remodel for the University's Veterinary Medicine Oncology clinic in early 2013. The renovation involved the demolition of a patient recovery room with a transformation into an Oncology Clinic.
We began with extensive demolition from top to bottom, cutting through concrete floors to install plumbing and drains to support the kennels. Ceiling duct work was removed and updated to improve circulation and air quality. Existing kennels were removed and new kennels were installed. We poured epoxy floors for improved durability and sanitation purposes. The office are updates include installed cabinetry and built in desks.
