Did you know that TBS Construction has a concrete division? Well, we do and we’ve been doing structural concrete as a service to both owners and other contractors for over 7 years now. Our president is a former commercial concrete contractor with some notable projects under his belt like UVA’s Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center in Charlottesville. The Cancer Center has complicated components like radiation vaults that involved “mass concrete” structures which require a great deal of expertise to construct. He’s also built bridges here in Roanoke and other notable projects. Our concrete superintendent is a long-time veteran in the commercial concrete industry too, with concrete expertise second to none.
